Reduce * Reuse * Recycle

‏‏‎What if we applied this concept to our personal growth as well? What if you don’t need MORE healing, MORE tools, MORE introspection; what if you need less?

‏‏‎ ‎

The first part of the cycle is to reduce. ‏‏‎ ‎ When we first start on our spiritual journey we get so excited about all of the things and we keep wanting to know more and do more and then at some point you might find that the scale tips and we feel like we can’t keep up with it all; why are we even doing this healing work? Can I go back in time to when I wasn’t so aware? If that’s you, you’re not alone! (I’ve heard this so many times from clients over the past year and experienced it myself!)

‏‏‎ ‎

Reduce the stimulation, reduce the list of things you should be doing, reduce the number of notifications you’re getting, and remember how to BE a human being.

‏‏‎ ‎

I named my business Awaken and Ground because I know when we go deep down the spiritual path we can lose connection with our physical body and this human experience, but I feel that it’s so important for us to find a way to merge the two. I believe that if we chose to come to Earth, it was because we wanted a human experience; not just a spiritual one. We could have stayed in the ethers for that.

‏‏‎ ‎

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, overstimulated, and burnt out:

‏‏‎ ‎

First – Reduce

  • pack away all your modalities (the things you think you should be doing every day like meditate, visualize, self healing, shadow work), all of your tools (crystals, sage, tarot cards, pendulums, books), all of the courses you signed up for and still need to finish, and choose just 10 things or less to bring back out.

Then – Reuse

  • Use those 10 things over and over on repeat, as long as they are supporting you, and when you’re ready for something different, rotate out a new thing with your backstock that you packed away.

Then – Recycle

  • Donate or sell the physical things you no longer want or haven’t pulled out after a year; give yourself permission never to go back to certain courses or modalities if you really don’t want to. Forgive yourself for the money you spent and honor the version of yourself who needed to buy whatever the thing was at the time, honor the endorphins that came from the purchase and what it did give you and release everything else.

‏‏‎ ‎

Then repeat 🤍 How does this feel?
